The Horror

I really don't know how I feel about living in a country where the most exhilarating sleaze and the most exciting three hours one could spend in the theatre is considered a bomb, while a generic comedy about a bunch of fat old men riding motorcycles is a box office smash. The world is scarier than I thought.

THANKSGIVING!

I'm still torn about the film. I'll hopefully post something about it soon.

Though strangely enough, the best part of the film was the final shot in Roth's Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is amazing, easily the finest moments of the whole package. I'm iffy mostly about Tarantino's film, though it seems critics creamed themselves over it. It seemed less faithful to the exploitation genre as it did Tarantino's own ego. Planet Terror was wonderfully unpretentious and hardly self-serving, but I enjoyed myself incredibly all three hours, nonetheless.
