One of the greats of Italian cinema, Alida Valli, died over the weekend. Her impressive film credits include
The Third Man,
Eyes Without a Face,
Suspiria,
Senso,
Il grido,
1900, and
Oedipus Rex. It seems as though she worked with all of the masters of Italian cinema (Visconti, Antonioni, Argento, Bertolucci, Pasolini).
